Easter Festivities Continue Amongst No Kings Day Events in Baltimore This Weekend

March 27-29, 2026

Easter festivities continue amongst No Kings Day events. Egg hunts at every farm, park, and fire station within 30 miles. A one-of-a-kind art event at AVAM. And a national day of civic action with rallies across Baltimore. Here's what stood out.

Top Pick

Cosmic Egg Day at American Visionary Art Museum Saturday, 10am-2pm | Ages 4+ | Cost varies

AVAM is already one of the most wonderfully weird museums in Baltimore, and on Saturday they're celebrating Andrew Logan's Cosmic Galaxy Egg sculpture with yoga, art workshops, and poetry. This is hands-on creative stuff, not "look but don't touch" museum energy. Kids make things, move around, and experience art that's bizarre enough to actually hold their attention.

Why it's cool: There are a dozen egg hunts this weekend. There is one Cosmic Egg Day, ever. If your family likes making things and seeing art that doesn't take itself too seriously, this is your Saturday morning.

Quick Weekend Wins

Just show up, no advance planning needed

  1. Easter at Weber's Farm at Weber's Cider Mill Farm, Parkville Sunday 9am-3:30pm | All ages | $6

Egg hunts with prizes, Easter Bunny photos, pancake breakfast, hillside slides, barrel train rides, and farm animals. The full Easter farm experience, and Sunday pricing is significantly cheaper than Saturday. Something for every age, from toddlers at the animal pens to older kids on the slides.

  2. Hop On The Trail Easter Egg Hunt at Bear Legacy Adventure Trail, Bel Air Saturday 1-4pm | All ages | FREE

An egg hunt along actual trails, not just a field. Dedicated toddler-friendly area plus activities and Easter Bunny photos. Active families will love the adventure element.

  3. Easter Bunny Brunch at Braglio Farms, Randallstown Saturday 12-4pm | All ages | $5

Easter Bunny photos, egg hunts, hay rides, farm animals, and a farm-to-table brunch for $5. One of the best value plays of the weekend, with a meal built in so you're not scrambling for lunch.

  4. Catonsville Easter Egg Hunt at Lurman Woodland Theatre Saturday 3pm | All ages | FREE

3,500 eggs. Community-run by the Catonsville Men's Civic Association and Baltimore County Rec and Parks. No tickets, no registration, no catch. A strong afternoon option if your morning is booked.

  5. The Addams Family Young@Part Musical at Chesapeake Arts Center, Brooklyn Park Friday-Sunday | $12

Not an egg hunt. A $12 musical running all weekend that's spooky-funny and genuinely entertaining for the whole family. Tweens know the Addams Family from Wednesday on Netflix, but younger kids will love the humor too.

No Kings Day (Saturday, March 28)

Saturday is No Kings Day, a national day of civic action with rallies across the country. Baltimore has events all over the city and county. If your family with older kids (roughly ages 8+) wants to participate, it can be a powerful, age-appropriate way to talk about civic engagement. Make signs together Friday night, pack water and snacks, wear comfortable shoes. For families with younger children, the crowds and noise make it a tougher call. For Toddler Families

  • Baby Rave at White Marsh Branch Library -- Friday 10:30-11am, FREE. A 30-minute toddler dance party at the library. Zero commitment, easy escape if meltdown hits.

  • Totally Untidy Toddler Time at Catonsville Library -- Friday 10-11am, FREE. Sensory exploration and hands-on mess-making designed specifically for toddlers. The name tells you everything you need to know.

  • Spring Block Party at Redemption City Church -- Saturday, FREE. Community block party with egg hunts broken out by age group, including a dedicated toddler area. Outdoor, open space, easy escape routes.

Tween-Approved

  • K-Pop Themed Pottery Painting at The Pottery Stop -- Friday, paid. K-pop is massive with the 10-12 crowd. Painting pottery with friends to a K-pop soundtrack? Your tween will actually want to go. Bring a friend.

  • AVAM Cosmic Egg Day -- Yes, this made the Top Pick too. AVAM's outsider art is genuinely weird enough to pass the tween "is this lame?" test. The Cosmic Galaxy Egg sculpture alone is worth the visit.
