Bmore Families is completely free. No premium tier, no hidden costs. We believe every family deserves access to great local events.
What counties do you cover?
We cover Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County, Howard County, and Harford County — the core Baltimore metro area.
How do you find events?
Our automated pipeline scans 310+ sources every week — library calendars, museum event pages, parks departments, community centers, Facebook groups, and local event aggregators. Events are deduplicated, normalized, and enriched with location, age, and cost data.
Who are the five parent personas?
Five AI parent personas independently evaluate every event: Weekend Warrior (marquee experiences), Budget-Conscious (true cost analysis), Toddler Wrangler (ages 0-4 viability), Tween Entertainer (ages 9-13 cool factor), and Plan-Ahead (booking urgency). When 4+ agree, that's a Top Pick.
When is the newsletter sent?
Every Thursday morning, so you have time to plan your weekend. The calendar on our website updates throughout the week as new events are discovered.
How do I submit an event?
Email us at victor@bmorefamilies.com with the event details — name, date, location, cost, and a link. If it's family-friendly and in our coverage area, our agents will evaluate it for inclusion.
What age ranges do you cover?
We cover all ages — from baby-friendly events through teen activities. Each event is tagged with an age range so you can filter for what fits your family.
Is this run by AI or humans?
Both. AI handles the heavy lifting — scanning sources, deduplicating events, and running five parent persona evaluations. Victor (a real Baltimore dad) reviews the final newsletter selection each week and maintains the curation quality.
How do I unsubscribe?
Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click, no questions asked. We use Beehiiv for email delivery, which handles unsubscribes instantly.
Do you sell my data?
No. We collect your email address to send the newsletter. That's it. We don't sell, share, or trade subscriber data. See our privacy policy for full details.
Are events sponsored or paid placements?
No. Our curation is editorial, not sponsored. No event organizer pays for inclusion or placement. If that ever changes, we'll disclose it clearly.
