Zoo Zoom: Run with the Herd 5K

Run wild at the official Maryland Zoo race on Sunday, November 15, 2026. Participants choose a team (Penguin, Chimpanzee, Panamanian Golden Frog, or Elephant) and race to help their species cross the finish line first. The event includes a 5K run through parts of the zoo, commemorative species-themed race shirt, all-day zoo admission (10 AM - 4 PM), and post-race refreshments, with all proceeds supporting the zoo's wildlife conservation mission.
