Video Game Club - Fields of Mistria (First Event!)

Hello Everyone! This is the first ever Video Game Club with Commonplace Book Club! Instead of our usual "What are you reading" style of club, this will be focused on a single game, and will meet monthly on one of our Off Sundays. This month we are playing Fields of Mistria! A Cozy farming sim with an art style inspired by 90s anime, specifically Sailor Moon. We will be discussing all aspects of the game with full spoilers in the second half of the meeting, characters you like, favorite farm animal, piece of dialogue that resonated most with you, or maybe you just want to talk about how many slimes you killed in the mines! We look forward to hearing about everyone's experiences in the world of Mistria! If you aren't interested in cozy farm sims and are thinking.. Man, I sure hope they don't just play cozy games, I want to talk about Call of Duty! No worries! Every month we plan to have a different genre or vibe for the game we choose, and will be putting our surveys after each meeting to vote on what's next! We are starting with a lower count of 10 people max, and are meeting at The Market At Hamilton, who are being incredibly kind and hosting us for free, they just ask that we buy a drink of snack while we discuss! If we see a lot of interest with large wait lists, we will work on finding a location that can accommodate larger groups! We look forward to seeing everyone there!!
