Oceanography Merit Badge Class

This full-day course covers all aspects of the Oceanography merit badge except requirement #8. The hands-on class will be held at the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology in Baltimore's Inner Harbor, where scouts will also receive a tour of the Marine Lab with active research on marine species conservation. The instructor is Dr. Thomas Haine, a Professor in the Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences at Johns Hopkins University, specializing in physical and dynamical oceanography.
