Hike Antietam Battlefield! - 8 Moderate Miles

Antietam is a moderate 8 mile hike around this sacred battle field. We travel up rolling fields, along a stream, and among gorgeous farmlands in addition to seeing various monuments along the way. This is approximately a 3 - 4 hour hike and it takes 90 minutes to get to Antietam from Baltimore. Please plan accordingly; we step off at 1000 sharp. There is a $10 charge for cars to park at the visitors center. Please meet at flagpole at visitors center. Please bring plenty of water, wear comfortable shoes and bring some snacks. We will stop along the stream to eat our snacks. :) Optional Lunch: Benders Public House and Eatery located at 111 Main Street in Sharpsburg.
