Grand Opening: The Making of Maryland

Join the grand opening celebration of 'The Making of Maryland: 1 Billion Years and Counting' exhibit. Walk through a mountain, see rocks from the Moon, and discover how scientists read Earth's story through rocks and fossils. Meet geology, mineralogy, and paleontology curators and be among the first to experience this hands-on exploration of Maryland's deep past. The celebration includes a ribbon cutting at 10 am, WPOC Radio Station on-site from 10-12 pm, and free admission.
