Celebrate Black Birders Week 2026 with this youth focused event blending hands on science with creative fun, featuring a live bird banding demonstration to spark curiosity about birds and conservation. While waiting for bird encounters, participants can enjoy a paper birding scavenger hunt and build their own birds using simple recycled materials. The event runs from 5:00-6:00pm for Bird Banding, followed by 6:00-7:00pm for Bird & Build-a-Bird Activities.
