Annapolis Baygrass Music Festival lineup revealed

The Annapolis Baygrass Music Festival, returning for its fourth year Saturday, Sept. 19, and Sunday, Sept. 20, announced its lineup Tuesday. Fourteen artists are scheduled to play, with headliners Little Feat, Yonder Mountain String Band, Bela Fleck’s My Bluegrass Heart and Sam Bush. Other performers include: Mountain Grass Unit. Tophouse. Shadowgrass. Scythian. Sister Sadie. Fireside Collective. Midnight North. Jammy Buffet. Melody Trucks & The Fitzkee Brothers Band. Geraldine. The beachfront festival will feature a wide range of bluegrass artists, fundraising for Chesapeake Bay restoration, local food and drink vendors, educational booths and family-friendly activities. It is the only music event hosted at Sandy Point State Park. The Baygrass Festival launched in 2023 after Hurricane Ian forced organizers to cancel less than 24 hours before its planned debut in 2022. A portion of the revenue is donated to the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, the Oyster Recovery Partnership and the Watershed Stewards Academy.
